I hope you’ve all been getting out there and riding!

Hi Everyone!
I hope you’ve all been getting out there and riding in this beautiful weather. Our spring has gotten off on a rocking start with the finish we could all hope for as motorcyclists. Writing this article, I’m sitting inside with allergies about to drive me crazy, which brings me to a safety concern that resides in our two wheel community. Outside of the normal impairments of our sport, alcohol, exhaustion, etc.,e have a tendency to overlook our medication(s) and how they effect us, and how it would effect us as a rider! Taking our daily dosages of our 81mg aspirins and lisinopril becomes a normality, but taking allergy medications can be a new adventure that should be experienced on the couch first! So let’s have cognizance of our minds and bodies this spring.
Our progressive dinner weather is looking to measure up as a great one at this point and time, but of course it’s a week away and we live in Missouri!I’m hoping to see everyone. A little birdie (Gail) on my shoulder says they’ll have to come and see!
As our busy season gets into a full swing of riding and rallying, we come to a point at hand; I’ve been contacted once again for our needs at the national rally in Utah this coming July. I need a head count, so I can order the tent that would fit our needs this year, as well as a count of attendees for the proper space needed for our tents in the club camping area. As soon as you know if you are going, please let me know. I’ll have to place the order on both by mid May.
We have loved ones in our club that need our thoughts and prayers so please do so! Thank you Marilyn for your efforts as well.
I would like to give a huge thanks for the members that have offered and stepped up to help out the club. That’s why our club is one of the greatest!
