AV START Act (S. 1885) includes language specific to M/C for State & Federal governments that regulate Autonomous Vehicles.
The AMA is also following 45 bills in 16 states that have some sort of distracted driving regulations. Some like Washington have “draconian” laws that restrict all hand held devices even when stopped. No Federal legislation is currently pending.
